Complete 3D Secure if promptedYour bank may ask for confirmation via SMS or banking app. This is a standard security step — not every card requires it.

Account Credit
Account Credit is an internal balance held in your shookout account. It is applied automatically at checkout — no need to select it separately.

How you get Account Credit
- Gift card redemption — redeem a shookout gift card at /credit
- Direct credit — credit added to your account
- Seller earnings — product sales are credited to your Account Credit, from which you can request a payout
Split Payment
Split Payment happens automatically when you have Account Credit and it doesn't fully cover the purchase price. No extra steps needed.
Example: You have $8.00 in Account Credit and buy a $20.00 product. At checkout — $8.00 is applied from Account Credit and the remaining $12.00 is charged to your card or PayPal. All in one instant transaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and PayPal are available globally. Apple Pay works in Safari on Apple devices. Google Pay works in Chrome on Android and desktop. Availability depends on your country and card issuer.
No. shookout charges no fee to buyers for any payment method. You pay exactly the listed price. If your card is in a different currency, your bank may apply their own conversion rate — this is charged by your bank, not shookout.
Yes. On your first purchase you can opt to save your card. Future checkouts complete in one click. Saved card data is stored securely by Stripe — never on shookout servers. Remove saved cards in My Account → Payment Methods.
All prices on shookout are in USD. If your card or PayPal uses a different currency, your payment provider applies their conversion rate. shookout does not charge any conversion fee.
Your Account Credit balance is shown and applied automatically at checkout. If it fully covers the price — no card payment needed. If not, the remainder is charged to your selected payment method in the same instant transaction.
