On shookout, two types of verification are available depending on your activity:

Personal verification (Physical Person)

Suitable for:

  • Individuals
  • Freelancers
  • Individual sellers

Required documents:

  • National passport
  • International passport
  • Driver's license
  • National ID card (ID card)

Business verification (Legal Entity)

Suitable for:

  • Legal entities
  • Individual entrepreneurs
  • Agencies and studios
  • Large sellers

Required documents:

  • Registration certificate company
  • Tax identification number
  • Company charter
  • Representative's passport company
  • Document confirming representative authority

ℹ️ Important: Business verification gives the same benefits as personal, plus the ability to invoice legal entities and work with VAT.

3Requirements to documents

General requirements

All documents must meet the following criteria:

  • Validity: document must be valid
  • Readability: text and photo must be clear
  • Completeness: all data on the document must be visible
  • Originality: only originals are accepted (not copies)

Only color photos — black-and-white are not accepted

Document fully in frame, no cropped edges

Selfie with document

To confirm the document belongs to you, upload a selfie:

  • Your face and document must be clearly visible
  • Hold the document next to your face
  • All data on the document must be readable
  • Photo must be taken in real time (not old)
  • Neutral facial expression
  • Good lighting without shadows

4Verification process: Step by step

Step 1: Start verification

  1. Log into your account on Viva
  2. Go to SettingsVerification
  3. Or click the "Confirm account" banner in your profile
  4. Click "Get started Verification"

Step 2: Choose verification type

Select the appropriate type:

  • Individual — for private individuals and freelancers
  • Legal entity — for companies and sole proprietors

Step 3: Fill in the questionnaire

Specify the following information:

  • Full name — as in the document
  • Date of birth
  • Citizenship
  • Country of residence
  • Registration address
  • Number phone (for SMS confirmation)

For legal entities additionally:

  • Company name — full and abbreviated
  • Tax identifier
  • Registration number
  • Legal address
  • Representative's position

Step 4: Download documents

Upload required documents:

  1. Main document — upload both sides
  2. Selfie with document — follow the on-screen instructions
  3. Documents company (for business verification)

Step 5: Confirmation phone

  1. Enter your mobile phone number
  2. Receive SMS with confirmation code
  3. Enter the code within 5 minutes

Step 6: Submit for review

  1. Check all entered data
  2. Make sure documents are uploaded correctly
  3. Check the box to agree with privacy policy
  4. Click "Send for review"

Step 7: Waiting for result

Document review takes:

  • 1-3 business days — standard time
  • Up to 24 hours — in most cases
  • Up to 7 days — if clarifications are required

You will receive a notification by email and in your account about the verification status.
